Our Residents and Community
Muirfield residents number a variety of professional people and families. They include members of the legal, medical and engineering communities that represent well known local and international companies. Additionally, our public schools are academically challenging with excellent sports and after school programs and are part of the renowned Francis Howell School System.
Construction and Architecture
Muirfield was constructed in 1985 -1994 on approximately 100 acres, and has a total of 223 houses. These homes were built by a number of contractors employing a variety of architectures and building materials that have achieved a diverse and harmonious ambience. The edifices are very well kept, nicely appointed and are large, generally ranging from 2,400 to 4,000 square feet. An appealing feature of these homes, is that they are defined to be nearly 80% built on cul-de-sacs with spacious lots ranging from 1/3 to 1/2 acres. The entire subdivision is postured on a series of verdant and gentle rolling hills, which today blossom with mature trees and vegetation, enhancing our community's peaceful setting.

Annual Fall Festival
The annual Fall Festival is a wonderful family event held on the Muirfield pool grounds and common area. Residents compete in the pumpkin carving contest and in a chili cook-off judged by members of the Cottleville Fire Department. There are plenty of games and activities for the kids and the event provides a great avenue through which to meet and mingle with neighbors while enjoying good music, food and refreshments.

Summertime in Muirfield
Summertime is a great time of year in the Muirfield community. Our subdivision boasts a well maintained and fully staffed community pool, with life guards, for our residents and their families and guests. We have a competitive swim team, called the Muirfield Marlins, for children of ages 4 to 18. The swim team is an outstanding summer recreational activity that is well received by both parents and children, alike.

Our Muirfield Sense of Community
The best thing about Muirfield is our sense of community. Our neighborhood is enriched by a number of activities sponsored by the swim team, social committee, and the residents who live here. Dive in Movies, neighborhood triathlons and the Fourth of July Parade with the Cottleville firefighters are just a few of the activities to experience living here in Muirfield!
